Towards the end of the growth period, the Yorkshire Terrier gains weight more slowly, and its bones strengthen. However, its nutritional needs will still be twice that of an adult dog.
The immune system of a growing Yorkshire Terrier is very sensitive, as its ability to produce antibodies is not yet sufficiently developed. Frequent changes in diet can negatively affect the puppy's intestinal flora, leading to sensitive digestion.
Royal Canin Breed Yorkshire Terrier Puppy dry food has been specially formulated considering the particular characteristics of dogs of this breed up to 10 months of age.
Ingredients: poultry protein (dried), rice, maize flour, animal fat, vegetable protein isolate*, dried beet pulp, animal protein (hydrolysed), minerals, soya oil, fish oil, yeasts, fructooligosaccharides (0.34%), yeast hydrolysate (source of mannan-oligosaccharides), borage oil, yeast extract (source of beta-glucans), marigold flower meal (source of lutein).
*L.I.P.: selected, easily digestible proteins with high biological value.
