The Siberian Husky is a medium-sized dog with thick fur and origins in Siberia. Dogs of this breed were bred for pulling sleds, guarding, or simply for companionship. They are distinguished by their energetic attitude, light-colored eyes, erect ears, and the color and markings of their fur.

    Behavior

Huskies were raised in a family environment; they prefer to be around multiple people or in a pack. Because of this, they can be left with children. This dog breed has a high volume of energy, they are friendly and noble, but at the same time alert and bold.

Apartment living is not recommended for Huskies, as they need space to move around. In a house, a high fence is needed because these dogs tend to jump fences or dig holes to escape. The Siberian Husky is not a good guard dog because it is not suspicious, is friendly with strangers, and does not show aggression towards other dogs.

    Intelligence

The Siberian Husky is an intelligent dog that can be trained, but let's not forget that it is also very stubborn and has an independent mind. Because of this, Husky dogs will test your alpha role in the family (pack). They can learn a new command in 15 – 20 repetitions.

    Husky Diet

The Husky is a medium/large dog that has a lot of energy and can consume it very quickly. Thus, it is good to feed them appropriately for their size and energy consumption. It is important to provide them with a balanced and complete diet that offers them the nutritional values they need.
