They are not produced by the body, which is why they require intake from food or supplements.

Flavonoids from grapes increase the elasticity and density of capillaries in the eye structure, including the retina. Zinc is a trace element abundantly present in ocular tissues, particularly in the retina. It is an important component of the antioxidant system, which protects against reactive oxygen species. It also contributes to better irrigation of the eyeball and to the suppression of complementary activation from retinal pigments of epithelial cells.
Polyphenol compounds from green tea extract have a strong antioxidant effect that contributes to a significant reduction in oxidative stress and represent an excellent prophylactic solution against eye conditions.
Vitamin A accelerates the regeneration of the purple substance, a pigment responsible for vision after dark. In the retina, Vitamin A is converted into a photosensitive pigment necessary for vision in low light or darkness.
Vitamins C and E belong to the group of powerful antioxidants that protect ocular cells from the harmful effects of free radicals. Vitamin C also seals blood vessels.
Vitamins B2, B6 and B12 support red blood cell production and optimal functioning of the nervous system.
Vitamins B5 and B9 (folic acid) help reduce fatigue and overexertion.
