Properties and method of use:
Tryptophan is an amino acid precursor to the neurotransmitter called serotonin. An increase in the amount of tryptophan in the animal's diet will lead to an increase in its concentration in the brain, which will significantly boost the production of serotonin. Once released into the synaptic clefts, serotonin can bind to various subtypes of receptors. Through its action on these receptors located in different parts of the brain, serotonin controls several physiological functions, such as hormone release, pain perception, appetite, mood, and behavior.
Studies in dogs have shown that an increase in brain serotonin levels can reduce the occurrence of aggression and self-inflicted wounds and enhance the dog's stress resistance.
Chamomilla recutita (chamomile) provides anti-anxiety properties, among many other biological qualities. Apigenin, a component of chamomile extract, binds to benzodiazepine receptors and thus exhibits mild calming properties for both pain and anxiety. Besides apigenin, another compound in chamomile, namely gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), contains other substances that bind to benzodiazepine and GABA receptors in the brain, thus having the specific calming effect offered by chamomile.
Valeriana officinalis (valerian) is a plant known since ancient times for its calming and soothing properties. The mechanism of valerian's action is based on the presence of terpenes, primarily valerenic acids and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). The active substances that make up valerian extract bind to several types of neurotransmitter receptors, including 5-HT%A, which are involved in regulating anxiety. The anti-anxiety effect conferred by valerian extract has been proven in many animal species and even in humans.

Dogs weighing 10-25kg/bw - 2 capsules/day
Dogs weighing over 25kg/bw - 3 capsules/day
