    Origin

The European Cat appeared naturally, without human involvement. It is presumed to be a descendant of the first domesticated Egyptian cats, which were brought to Europe by the Romans. Initially, these cats were used to eliminate rodents that could contaminate crops, but, over time, they became beloved companion animals.

    European Cat Personality

European cats are playful, energetic, and friendly with people and other animals. They are affectionate and sociable, but this doesn't mean they have a constant need for your attention. It's a suitable cat for many people and can adapt to a family environment, couples, children, or single individuals. It can be left alone without being disturbed as it sleeps many hours a day and can entertain itself, displaying independent behavior when needed.

    Coat

The coat of European cats is shiny and always short. Many natural colors are possible, such as: white, black, brown, gray, and many other combinations.

    Care

The cat will need to be brushed weekly to keep its coat clean and to prevent shedding hair around the house. It is recommended to check its ears and teeth to avoid problems. You must pay attention to their diet because some can gain weight if they don't have a balanced diet.

    European Cat Diet

European cats should be fed a combination of dry and wet food. A diet of premium or super premium food can have a positive impact on your cat's health and well-being. They must be fed a complete and balanced meal, served on a set schedule to prevent them from gaining weight.
